In a natural, safe, supportive and playful environment we create a potent opportunity to step up and take responsibility and control of your physical, mental and emotional health.

 

We extract the essence of ancient practices including breath, sound, movement and relating and apply it to the individual and collective challenges of the modern world.

 

You will learn an integrative circular breathing method that, combined with trained awareness, gives you access to your body at deeper and more subtle levels.

Increased body awareness and increased capacity to be OK with what you are feeling is a powerful path to lower your baseline level of stress, heal trauma, expand consciousness and increase health and vitality in every cell of your organism.

Feeling more at peace in your own body boosts your capacity to be open and receptive to the world around around you so you can fully and freely express and enjoy this life like it's your last one!

The retreat is held by the knowledgable, experienced, compassionate and playful facilitators Torunn Avelsgaard Lien and Robbin van der Crussen.

Instill in yourself a thorough understanding and a deeply felt inspiration for how to use your breath and body awareness to meet life's inevitable challenges as wonderful opportunities to wake up to more of your natural capacity to heal, love, laugh, lead, connect and create.

Every day starts with a morning practice, consisting of concentration, movement, breathing and relaxation to prepare your mind, body and spirit for the main work of the day, which is an in-depth breathwork session.

The main session includes a lesson explaining the underlying concepts, practical techniques, physiological and philosophical aspects of the practice empowering you to easily implement the practice when you come back home.

In the afternoons we dance, play, write, sing, share and relate to integrate and deepen our understanding and experience of the healing power of breath and body awareness, and connect more deeply with the group as a whole.

A WORD OF NOTICE

This is an intense and in-depth retreat. It is open to all and does not require any previous experience with breathwork.

Nevertheless it requires your willingness and openness to face new and unknown aspects of yourself.

We expect you to join the whole programme, as it is built up with a natural progression from session to session, and as the dynamics and feeling of safety within the group depends on the full commitment of all participants.

If you have experienced severe trauma, or are suffering from any serious psychiatric condition, please consult us before signing up, as we need to discuss whether this retreat is suitable and beneficial for you.
